Overview

Anime in the Park invites you to get outside and touch grass.

We’re building a village for the day. That feeling you get when you find a new town in an old school JRPG, or when a traveling adventurer group finds a cool city in a manga or an anime… that’s what we’re creating.

The framework revolves around a marketplace of local artists who have their original wares for sale. By the way, we stand firm against the use of AI, and will permaban anyone caught trying to sell AI slop. We also feature a few vendors selling retail items. Branching out from there, this year’s event offers three shelters that will house panels, gaming and main events. Under those shelters, expect a wide variety of entertainment and interactive fun. There’s a little something for everyone. Also, one of the more unique elements of Anime in the Park is Theme Camps, which offer interactive art and events in a themed environment. In the parking lot area we will have food trucks, and possibly Itasha cars.

At the core, we’re simply building a space for cosplayers, weebs, nerds, geeks, normies and everyone to feel safe and hang out for the day. Take away all the programming, all the events, all the hype, and you’re left with something that’s honestly the most important element… community. Anime in the Park is an effort to breathe life back into a world that has become cold and disconnected. Just show up and be yourself. You will find a network of people who accept you as you are. This is the whole point.

We are currently processing applications for artists, vendors, panelists, theme camps, etc. and will update the website as they are confirmed. Register now to be a part of the show!
