Basic Information
If something doesn’t feel right, or if you don’t want to deal with it, radio for help.
We use channel 7 on the walkie talkies. Twist the little knob for volume. Twist the big knob to change channels. Don’t say any swear words or anything that could be offensive.
Water bottles will be provided to all volunteers. Help yourself. If you see an attendee who looks dehydrated, offer them a bottle of water. Don’t advertise that we’re giving water away, or people will abuse it. This is simply a safety courtesy. The food area sells bottles of water for $2. Direct people there if they ask where they can buy water. Save our stash for volunteers and emergencies.
First aid kits are at Registration and Placement. The Public Safety team also has small first aid kits.
For emergencies, dial 911 or find the on-site officer(s).
Remember that we do this for fun, and to uplift our community. Cosplay is encouraged. This is not a job. This is a community effort to bring joy and happiness to our world.
