Please read this entire agreement carefully before using our website or attending our events. We have taken great care to write these terms and conditions in a way that is understandable and transparent.
Agreement
By registering for or attending an Anime in the Park Event, You represent that You have read, understand, and agree to the Anime in the Park Terms & Conditions listed below.
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Attendees at Events.
Your attendance at an Event indicates your agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
Definitions
This section defines some of the words that we use throughout our Terms & Conditions. These definitions apply to everything within this document, both above, within, and below this section, as well as any supplemental documents, such as, but not limited to our Liability Waiver, Disclaimers, Rules, and other publications, articles, messages, posts, documents, and media published by Anime in the Park.
“Anime in the Park,” “AITP,”, “NetsuCon,” “Organizer,” “We,” “Our,” and “Us” refer to NetsuCon Events, LLC., as well as our affiliates, directors, subsidiaries, contractors, licensors, officers, agents, and employees.
“Attendee,” “You,” and “Your” refer to the individual person, company, or organization that is using the AITP Website or attending an AITP Event. This term includes all regular attendees, as well as participants, artists, vendors, panelists, performers, and more. If You are physically present at one our Events, then You are an Attendee.
“Event” refers to any occurrence organized by AITP, including any of the events, activities, panels, and presentations organized by AITP in association with the AITP event.
“Exhibitor” refers to any artist, merchandise vendor, food truck vendor, or organization that hosts a booth or provides services at our Events.
“Register” means to sign up for an Event so you can enter the Park and participate in the Event.
“Registration” is the process of registering for an Event.
“Rules” refer to the stated guidelines and rules outlined for all Events, including, but not limited to, the rules within these Terms & Conditions, posted rules and signs at Events, and specific rules for each Venue.
“Venue,” and “Park” refer to the physical locations in which We host our Events.
“Content” refers to any content featured or displayed on our Website and at our Events, including without limitation text, data, articles, images, photographs, graphics, sound, and other materials.
“Website” refers to the AITP website, which is located at animeinthepark.com, and all content, services, and products provided by AITP at or through the Website.
“Terms & Conditions” refers to this document itself, whether in digital or printed form.
Overview
NetsuCon Events, LLC is the Organizer hosting these Anime in the Park Events. By attending Our Events or using our Website, You are entering into an agreement with NetsuCon Events, LLC. As stated in the Introduction, You must agree to all the terms within this document in order to attend our events.
Registration
Registration is required in order to attend Our Events. You can register online through our website: animeinthepark.com
Each unique Event requires a new registration. You can see a list of unique Events on our website at animeinthepark.com/events/. Each hyperlink will direct you to the specific unique Event in which you must Register for. Past registration for previous events does not allow you to enter any new events. You must Register for each new event every time.
You must be a human to Register. Automated methods of registration through the use of “bots” or other methods are not permitted.
Failure to Register does NOT absolve You of your responsibility to read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. As stated in the Agreement section, by simply attending one of our Events, you are agreeing to Our Anime in the Park Terms & Conditions.
Attendees who fail to Register will be removed from the Event.
Age Requirements
You must be 18 or older to attend Our Events, unless We receive consent from a parent or guardian.
Children aged 13 to 17 may attend our events alone ONLY if we receive consent from a parent or guardian. Parental consent can be provided via the online Registration process.
Children under the age of 13 require a parent or guardian present at all times. Anime in the Park is not responsible for the safety or well-being of your children. Our Events are held at public parks, where this is no reasonable expectation of childcare or babysitting services.
Parents and guardians must agree to these terms on behalf of the minors they represent as a legal parent or guardian.
Attendee Requirements
Attendees must observe the Rules, policies, disclaimers, warnings, and procedures of each Event. Each Event may have specific and unique Rules per Venue, which will be posted on our website, animeinthepark.com.
In order to participate in our Events, you represent that
- You have the capacity to understand these Terms & Conditions.
- You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions, as well as any other ancillary agreements that are on the Registration page, including, but limited to, Liability Waivers, Disclaimers, and Rules.
- You are over 18 or have the consent of a parent or guardian to attend.
- You agree to all the Terms & Conditions, including ancillary agreements.
- You have Registered for the Event.
Rules
The latest and most specific rules can be found on our website at animeinthepark.com/rules/.
You must follow the stated rules on our website, within this agreement, and on any officially posted signs at our events.
The following rules apply to all of Our Events:
- Obey all federal, state, and local laws and policies.
- For serious and life-threatening medical and safety issues, please dial 911.
- Leave No Trace. Do not leave trash on the ground. Respect the park.
- Be nice, and if you can’t be nice, at least be neutral.
- No smoking.
- Guests under 13 require a parent or guardian present at all times.
- Guests under 18 require parental consent to attend.
- Some content may be offensive. All attendees agree to Our Content Warning Disclaimer.
- No real weapons are allowed in the event. Prop weapons must be checked at the information booth. Some prop weapons may be denied entry.
- Poi and flow toys are allowed and encouraged!
- You must be a licensed and insured performer with prior consent from AITP to perform any flow art that utilizes props that are set on fire.
- Cosplay is NOT consent! Do not take photos of anyone without permission. Do not touch anyone without permission.
- See something, say something. If you feel uncomfortable at any time, reach out to a staff member, or a greeter at the information booth. We are all here to support each other and build a safe environment!
- Practice good hygiene.
- Anime in the Park staff reserves the right to eject anyone from the event at any time for any reason.
- Do not enter any areas that are roped off with caution tape.
- Have fun and cultivate happiness!
Content Warning Disclaimer
By attending this event, You may encounter Content that may be considered offensive, indecent or objectionable; this Content may or may not be identified as having explicit language or other attributes. Nevertheless, You agree to participate at your sole risk, and Anime in the Park has no liability to you for any Content. Descriptions of the Event are available, but Anime in the Park does not guarantee their accuracy.
Harassment and Aggression
We are committed to creating a safe environment for everyone. Self-expression is one facet of that safety. This self-expression does NOT extend to demeaning others, promoting hate speech, being mean/confrontational, or harassing others.
Anime in the Park has a zero-tolerance policy for vulgar and threatening behavior, also known as “Harassment” or “Aggression.”
AITP has the sole discretion to determine what kind of actions and words are considered vulgar or threatening.
Anyone who is accused of harassment or aggression may be removed from the Event.
Pictures, Videos, and Audio Recordings
Anime in the Park and its partners, agents, or contractors sometimes take pictures, videos, and audio recordings at Events. By participating or attending these Events, you agree that you may appear in some of these pictures, videos, and audio recordings, and that you authorize AITP to use them during and after the Event. Pictures, videos, and audio recordings of the event may appear on our website, social media pages, printed materials, and other places.
If You provide Us with any photos, videos, or audio recordings, You are authorizing AITP to use them in any fashion, and representing the individuals in the these media formats as having consented to such use.
Attendees agree to release a free, commercial, perpetual, unlimited, non-exclusive, irrevocable, transferable license on their likeness and voice to AITP for reproduction and sharing of these pictures, videos, and audio recordings of the Event to be used in advertising, discussion, or any other materials deemed necessary by AITP.
Information Sharing
Exhibitors and other third parties may ask you for personal information and other details. Providing any information to them is voluntary and optional, and you should review their privacy policies to determine how they will treat your personal information and whether you are comfortable with that treatment.
Exhibitors
Anime in the Park assumes no responsibility for the actions of Exhibitors, including, but not limited to, artists, vendors, food trucks, entertainers, panelists, and performers.
It is Your responsibility to understand any agreements in which you enter with these parties, and to reach out to them directly with any concerns or grievances.
Each Exhibitor operates independently of Anime in the Park, within the confines of their allotted space.
Any expense or damage arising out of in or connection with the Exhibitor’s use of the leased space at the Event, or any sale, contract, or agreement made between You and the Exhibitor must be handled directly between You and that specific Exhibitor.
Anime in the Park will not be involved with any disputes between Exhibitors and Attendees.
Other Attendees
Anime in the Park assumes no responsibility for other attendees or people you may interact with at the Event. If you have a dispute with one or more attendees, you agree to release AITP from any and all claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
Risk, Liability, Indemnity, and Resolution of Disputes
Assumption of Risk
Even though We take great care in curating a safe environment at our Events, We cannot completely guarantee safety for Attendees.
There are inherent risks at our Events.
Attendees travel to, attend, and leave the Event at their own risk. It is not the responsibility of Anime in the Park to provide advice or assistance relating to traveling to and from the event, nor is it Our responsibility to provide advice or assistance relating to decisions made during the Event.
You agree to carefully consider the risks involved with our Events, including any of the events, activities, panels, and presentations hosted within the Event.
Anime in the Park, Exhibitors, and other Attendees may advise You to perform certain actions, but You must practice discretion and make the best decisions for yourself. Our Events may feature dancing, exercise classes, fire spinning performances, loud music, combat sports, running, jumping, yelling, climbing, and other dangerous activities. Our Events utilize extension cables which may present a tripping hazard, and electronic equipment that could lead to electrocution.
Anime in the Park is not responsible for any broken bones, twisted ankles, falls, electrocutions, or any other injuries or pain suffered by Attendees.
We are not responsible for any losses you may suffer as a result of Your attendance, whether physical, mental, political, or spiritual.
The environment is outdoors and in the elements. There are weather risks, such as the sun and rain.
Anime in the Park is not responsible for any incidents of heat stroke, dehydration, or any medical issues suffered by Attendees.
Anime in the Park is not responsible for the loss, damage, or theft of Your personal property.
You are responsible for your own actions and any consequences that result from your actions, both during and after the Event. You agree to take full responsibility for your actions and your attendance to the fullest extent permitted by law. Anime in the Park is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that you might sustain at the Event.
Release of Liability
You (for yourself, your heirs, personal representatives, or assigns, and anyone else who could make a claim on your behalf) hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Anime in the Park and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, partners, shareholders, members, agents, employees, vendors, sponsors, and partners from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or expenses (including court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees) which may arise out of, result from, or relate in any way to your attendance at the Event. This release will not apply if Anime in the Park is grossly negligent or engages in willful misconduct.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Anime in the Park, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless, including costs, liabilities, and legal fees, from any claim or demand made by any third party due to, related to, or connected with your attendance or conduct at the Event.
Resolution of Disputes
Florida law will govern these Event terms, as well as any claim, cause of action or dispute that might arise between you and Anime in the Park (a “Claim”), without regard to conflict of law provisions. FOR ANY CLAIM BROUGHT BY EITHER PARTY, YOU AGREE TO SUBMIT AND CONSENT TO THE PERSONAL AND EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION IN, AND THE EXCLUSIVE VENUE OF, THE STATE AND FEDERAL COURTS LOCATED WITHIN ST LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA.

Exhibitor Space Terms
This agreement is between you and Anime in the Park.
Please read it carefully, as it outlines all the expectations, and covers important topics such as liability and warranty.
You must also read and agree to the standard Anime in the Park Terms & Conditions, which apply to all attendees, including artists and vendors.
Anime in the Park provides space for artists and vendors to promote, display and sell their work. Applications for these exhibitor spaces can be found on the Registration page of our website, animeinthepark.com. Each application is only valid for the specific event being applied for. To participate in future events, a new application is required. Specific terms and conditions may be found on the registration page for each unique event that may override or modulate the terms and conditions below. For example, some venues do not allow vending, and some venues may have different requirements for pop-up tents, activities, etc. Please read everything on the Registration page carefully before applying, as well as the terms and conditions here, which apply to all Anime in the Park events.
The application for exhibit space at Anime in the Park (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”), which will become a contract between Anime in the Park (hereinafter referred to as “AITP” and/or “We”) and the applicant (hereinafter referred to as the “Exhibitor” and/or “You”), upon acceptance, is based on the terms set forth below and the plan of exhibits, rates, and rules and regulations may be established from time to time as set forth in updated and amended information, all of which constitute part of this contract. In any case where the this agreement is amended, all other terms and conditions of this agreement remain in full force and effect.

Age Requirements. All Exhibitors must be 18 or older.
Artists and Vendors. We define Vendors as merchants who mostly conduct resale in which they have personally made or designed 20% or less of their merchandise. We also define any business that sells food or drink as a Vendor. We define Artists as merchants who have personally made or designed 80% or more of their merchandise. Please apply with the most appropriate registration form and contact us with any questions.
Food and Beverages. Only approved food trucks and food/beverage Vendors are allowed to sell food and beverages. If you are an artist, and registered as such, you may not sell food or drink. Anyone selling food/beverages must be licensed and insured, and may need to pass city inspection.
Registration and Acceptance. Registration does not guarantee acceptance. Confirmation emails are not the same as acceptance emails. Artists and Vendors who have been accepted will receive an email confirming their acceptance.
Registration Fee. Before setting up your exhibitor space, you must pay the registration fee. Reservation fees for each event can be found on the Registration page, along with payment details. There are no refunds.
Taxes. You must be registered with the state to pay Sales and Use Tax, and collect, report and remit sales tax to the state on every item you sell.
Equipment. Exhibitors must provide their own tents, canopies, tables, chairs, and display materials. Tents must have a 35lb weight on each leg for support.
Weather. Exhibitors must prepare for extreme weather conditions. Please have a plan in place to protect your merchandise if needed. AITP events are rain or shine, and we will not cancel based on a forecast of rain alone. AITP reserves the right to cancel an event before or during the event if weather conditions are deemed “Unsafe.” AITP determines the definition of Unsafe. There are no refunds, no transfer of funds and no rain dates if an event is cancelled due to act of God scenarios as mentioned above that make it unsafe. If possible, we will reschedule and work with everyone to find an appropriate date as an alternative, but we cannot guarantee that the city/county decision makers will allow this.
Setup and Teardown. Exhibitors must arrive at least one hour before the marketplace opens to set up, and plan for at least one hour after to tear down. Marketplace hours may differ from the event hours.
Leave No Trace. Exhibitors must clean up their space before leaving and leave no trace of their presence. Please respect the venues and do your part to keep these parks clean! Whatever you pack in, you must pack out.
Plagiarism and AI. AITP does not allow plagiarized work or images created by Artificial Intelligence to be promoted or sold at our events.
Behavior. Exhibitors will engage in professional behavior. Any exhibitor found to be aggressive, insulting or otherwise unprofessional will be asked to leave the event with no refunds.
Smoking. Smoking of any products, including Marijuana is not allowed in exhibitor tents or within the event public walkways. Smoking must be done outside the perimeter of the booths. If you don’t comply with the no smoking rule, you will be asked to leave with no refunds.
Website. We will list your artist name on our website, on the event page for the event that you signed up for. We make no guarantee of uptime for the website. We will do our best to keep the website running, but make no promises.
Instagram. We will promote your work on our Instagram page under the handle @animeinthepark as long as our account is in good standing, and we have the ability to use the app.
No Guarantee. We cannot guarantee that you will find financial success or sell enough items to cover the entry fees. Your exhibitor space does not come with any implied warranty or promise of success.
INDEMNIFICATION: You agree to indemnify and hold Anime in the Park, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives harmless, including costs, liabilities, and legal fees, from any claim or demand made by any third party due to, related to, or connected with your attendance or conduct at the Event. You will be held financially responsible for any damages you are responsible for, including, but not limited to: physically damaging park infrastructure, leaving trash behind, causing additional cleanup fees.
HOLD HARMLESS. Exhibitor agrees to assume all risk, and to indemnify and hold harmless AITP, Daniel Dodsworth, state and county governments, its Owners, their respective officials, subsidiaries, agents, affiliates, operators, officers, volunteers and employees, as well as any contractors hired by AITP (hereafter “the Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, defense costs, liability, expense or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with AITP’s use of the leased premises or arising out of any act or omission of AITP or any of AITP’s employees, agents, contractors, representatives, patrons, guests or invitees; excepting such claims, demands, defense costs, liability, expense, or damages arising out of the sole negligence of one or more of the Indemnified Parties.
RESPONSIBILITY. Exhibitor assumes responsibility and agrees to defend the Indemnified Parties from and against any and all claims, demands, defense costs, liability, expense or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with AITP’s use of the leased premises. Neither AITP nor the Indemnified Parties will be responsible for any injury, loss or damage that may occur to Exhibitor, Exhibitor’s employees, or property from any cause whatsoever.
LIABILITY. Anyone visiting, viewing, or otherwise participating in Exhibitor’s exhibit is deemed to be the invitee or licensee of Exhibitor, rather than the invitee or licensee of AITP. AITP shall not be liable for any injury whatsoever to the persons conducting or otherwise participating in the conduct of Exhibitor’s exhibit or to invitees, licensees or guests of Exhibitor. Exhibitor assumes full responsibility for the actions of its agents, employees, or independent contractors, whether acting within or without the scope of their authority and agrees to hold harmless the Indemnified Parties from responsibility or liability resulting directly or indirectly, or jointly, from other causes which arise because of the actions or omissions of its agents, employees, or independent contractors.
WARRANTY. There is no other agreement or warranty between Exhibitor and AITP except as set forth in this document. The rights of AITP under this contract shall not be deemed waived except as specifically stated in writing and signed by an authorized officer of AITP. We are not responsible any losses, nor any damage to merchandise.
Changes to Terms & Conditions
Anime in the Park reserves the right to modify or supplement these Terms & Conditions at any time, without notification. If We make any material changes to these Terms & Conditions, We will update the website to include such changes.
