April 20, 2024 – Artist/Vendor Survey

Thank you for tabling at our first event!

Please fill out as much of this survey as you can, to the best of your ability and comfort level.

The information you provide will be carefully considered, and will help guide our direction as Anime in the Park grows. Right now is a critical stage in our development, and your input will help shape our future.

We aim to serve artists, and to provide a great experience not just for attendees, but for the awesome people like you who put in the hard work to run these pop-up marketplaces. None of the fields are mandatory, but please provide as much detail as possible, so we know how to do things better next time. If you feel the radio buttons are too restrictive, you can choose “Prefer not to answer,” and just write more in the free form comments.

Thanks!

-Daniel

You can choose to remain anonymous if you really wish, but transparency will help us all grow and learn from experience.
Let me know if you want your responses to start a more in-depth conversation over email or text.
Instead of starting with specific questions that may alter how you can best express yourself, please provide a general rundown of your experience in your own words. Feel free to write as much or as little as you'd like. Don't hold back! Honesty is the best policy.
This first event was a loss leader for Anime in the Park as we build a proof of concept. We don't want to dig deep into your finances, but we also want to know if this business model is sustainable for everyone.
Did you sell out of your stock? Did you do better than you expected for a small outdoor convention in a small town? Was the money good? You can always skip this question if not comfortable answering.
Regardless of revenue or profit for the day of show, do you feel that this event was worth the effort? Especially in terms of promoting your business, networking with other people, and solidifying your brand name?
This can be a very rough estimate for the number, or use a range, and/or you can use words to elucidate further.
Is there anything you really liked or disliked about how the booths were arranged?
How did we do with the playlists and DJs?
We want Anime in the Park to be safe space for everyone. Please let us know if there were any moments that you felt uncomfortable. If you already reported any issues, were you happy with how they were handled?
What did we do right?
What did we do wrong?
What would you like to see at the next Anime in the Park? Food trucks? More scheduled events? Be creative and say anything that comes to mind!
How did we do with the preflight emails and guides, and our communication in general?
How likely are you to return as an artist/vendor?
After considering all the questions you answered so far, is there anything else you can think of that you want to share? Use this field to expand on any of the above questions that you want to provide more detailed answers on.
