Veterans Park at Rivergate Meetup

Our first meetup in Port St Lucie was a success. This wasn’t a full “event,” but rather a small “meetup” that shrinks down the moving parts and focuses only on being a place for cosplayers, nerds, normies, and anyone with a creative mind and good heart to gather.

The weather was gorgeous. Throughout the day we had enough people to excite a flow state and have fun. It was a small crowd, but with deep interactions. I actually got to enjoy it too, instead of running around working! Playing cards and talking with new friends felt so refreshing. This is the root of why these events even exist. Meetups are a great way to rekindle that connection with each other, socialize, and build our community.

Thank you to everyone that helped keep the park clean, take down equipment, bring food/beverages, lead games, be cool, look amazing, share creativity, and contribute to a beautiful day in the park.
