This newspaper article serves to inform the public that NetsuCon Events, LLC will be doing business as Anime in the Park.
NetsuCon is the event that we base our principles on. It’s a yearly convention that takes place in the Cooper Memorial Library every October. It’s also what we based our LLC name on.
Anime in the Park is an extension of NetsuCon, and features outdoor events with art, music and cosplay.
We decided to become an LLC instead of a nonprofit because it’s more affordable, has less rules, and gives our events better legal protection. Our events are run as very low-profit community gatherings. We only hope to make this world a brighter place by bringing people together. Money is just a necessary part of the framework required to exist in this world, and to engage in hosting these events.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this a reality. We hope to continue growing and putting proceeds back into our events to make them even better. See you at the next one!
