Access to Drinking Water

Access to drinking water is a fundamental right.

Many conventions and venues use dehydration as a tactic to sell overpriced water.

This is primarily fueled by greed, but it’s also an unfortunate side effect of increased security requirements barring outside food and beverages.

We will do everything in our power to preserve the right to carry our own food and water supplies. This is an essential aspect of our Self-Reliance principle.

Don’t mess it up for everyone!

Please review our rules and policies.

Rules

  • All of our events prohibit drugs and alcohol.
  • Styrofoam is not allowed at any parks in Miami-Dade County.
  • Do not leave any trash behind.

Follow the rules, be safe, and pack out everything you pack in. Food waste can be thrown away, but if it doesn’t stink, take it back home with you. This includes coolers, tote bags and other bulky items.

Attendees may bring:

  • Coolers
  • Water
  • Non-alcoholic beverages
  • Food and snacks

Bring extra for friends! This is in line with our Teamwork principle.

Please note that coolers may be subject to inspection. We will have sheriff’s deputies on-site to assist with any issues that need to be escalated. Be smart. Do the right thing. Follow the rules.

Attendees may NOT bring:

  • Alcohol
  • Drugs

Also, attendees may NOT:

  • Sell food or beverages

Register as a food truck or food vendor if you wish to sell items. You will need to pass certain inspection and licensure requirements first.
